Why did the ne'ne cross the road?

Green Acres Cottages- fresh fruit

We are staying right now at Green Acres Cottages in the 'Nautical Dreams' cottage. The theme of our room warrants another blog post. One lovely highlight of this place is right outside our door are lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange trees that we have been picking fresh every morning for breakfast.  Ana Lucia and I give Carol a little time to herself while we pick fruit.  There are also Macadamia nuts here too that we get to crack out on our lanai with the nutcracker they provided. As you probably know macadamia nuts are super expensive. So that's been a treat.

Walking on Ke'e Beach, Kauai, HI

Hawaiian Monk Seal

On the deck of the St. Regis Resort in Princeville to watch the sunset

Hi friends and family,

This year we chose the island of Kaua'i, Hawaii for our warm weather winter holiday break. We are happy to introduce our 6 month old daughter, Ana Lucia, to this annual tradition. The blog posts will be a bit shorter and fewer this year due to our new adventures in parenting. We did want to share a few photos and stories from our trip when we can fit them in.

Happy Holidays,

Mike
